ZX-08 is designed for clean, dry, non-corrosive gases and liquids compatible with carbon-steel or brass wetted parts — air, nitrogen, water, and light hydraulic oils. Not suitable for corrosive gases, seawater, acids, or chlorinated media.
ZX-08 is available in ranges from 0–0.1 MPa up to 0–40 MPa. Choose a range so normal operating pressure falls between 25% and 75% of full scale for best gauge life.
In moderately pulsating lines (pumps, compressors), pair with a piston or sintered snubber installed in the process connection. For severe pulsation, upgrade to ZX-06 (liquid-filled), which self-dampens via glycerine fill.
Standard diameters: 40 mm, 50 mm, 63 mm, 100 mm, and 160 mm. 63 mm and 100 mm are the most common for panel and pipe mounting.

In clean, steady-pressure service, field life typically exceeds 5 years. Mechanical shock, vibration, or dirty media significantly reduce service life — use a diaphragm seal or liquid-filled gauge in those conditions.
